James Baxter is trained in classical, jazz, and rock guitar styles.  He is in the process of finishing up his Bachelor's of Music at Virginia Commonwealth University and will graduate Spring 2025.  Since 2017, James has also played in the VCU Jazz Orchestra as well as several touring bands, performing at various clubs/venues/music festivals across Virginia and into most of the neighboring States.  His years of experience gives him the ability to cater to each student's individuality and craft lesson plans around their unique place in the learning process. Whether starting from the beginning or already playing and performing, James can help take your guitar playing to the next level.
